THE ROOF at Black + Blue

THE ROOF at Black + Blue is destination dining at its finest, located in the heart of downtown Vancouver. With this project, MONARC aimed to create a magical rooftop oasis – as an escape from the concrete jungle.

MONARC received an IDIBC Award of Merit for this project in 2021

Upon arrival, guests are transported into a true garden terrace. The entry walkway is now adorned with an arbor full of lush foliage + sparkling lights, creating a special experience as you seek out your table. A simple palette of greens, soft greys and black accents allows the biophilic features in this outdoor room to take center stage.
